A clear, structured pathway designed to support you from your first enquiry through to your final outcome review.
Step 1: Referral or Enquiry
You may be referred by your GP or specialist, or contact us directly. A referral is required before your consultation.
Step 2: Screening Questionnaire
You will receive a short questionnaire to complete at home.This helps us understand your goals and prepare for your consultation. It also forms part of our standard clinical screening process.
Step 3: Initial Consultation
Your consultation includes:
- Medical history and goals
- Clinical assessment
- Standardised photographs
- Outcome simulation
- Discussion of risks, alternatives, recovery, and costs.
You are encouraged to bring a support person.
We encourage you to take photos of your simulation images for reference.
Step 4: 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
You will have a mandatory 14-day period to reflect.We do not contact you during this time unless you reach out.
You are encouraged to:
- Review your information
- Speak with your support person
- Consider a second opinion
You are encouraged to bring a support person.
We encourage you to take photos of your simulation images for reference.
Step 5: Second Consultation
This appointment is for:
- Final questions
- Confirming your decision
- Signing consent
- Booking surgery
A 20% deposit is required at this stage.
Step 6: Waiting Period
We stay in contact with you before surgery:
- Booking confirmation
- Pre-operative check-in
- Final readiness call
Step 7: Surgery Day
Your procedure is performed by A/Prof Winters at an accredited surgical facility. You will receive full discharge instructions before leaving.
Step 8: Recovery
You will be supported through a structured recovery schedule including:
- Early wound review
- Week 2 and Week 4 reviews
Swelling, bruising, and emotional fluctuations are normal and expected.
Step 9: Outcome Reviews
This will vary from procedure to procedure, however the most common outcome reviews are:
- 3 month reviews
- 12 month review
These reviews help ensure optimal outcomes and ongoing care.
